Regulation Game

Regulation game

The Regulation Game is a unique and innovate public engagement tool meant to educate individuals on what a system of legal regulation of drugs could look like and remove the uncertainty and fear around this evidence-based policy option. It introduces players to the range of factors that must be considered when legally regulating substances and how each can be used to protect public health and safety while minimizing harms to affected communities—factors such as who has access to drugs, how much access is provided, and where access is granted for currently illegal substances should these substances move into a legally regulated system.

The aim is to shift society's mindset from "should we legally regulate drugs" to "how can we legally regulate drugs" in order to protect public safety and the health and safety of people who currently use drugs dying at an unprecedented rate from overdose due to an unregulated market.
